We have a dedicated team of procurement specialists who are responsible for ensuring a professional tendering process, provide advice and training for staff and also through their work developing opportunities for the local businesses, SME's and the voluntary sector.
The team actively work and engage with local suppliers to help them understand how we buy. We aim for a two-way process, where through offering workshops, training events, and annual Meet the Buyer events we receive feedback that enables us to continually improve the services we provide.
The team also regularly work with Business Link and the Federation of Small Businesses and host joint events for local businesses.
