How many same-sex couples are there in Oxford?
Very few statistics are available about sexual orientation. The last census in 2001 was the first to ask a question related to sexual orientation. It showed that there were 278 people living in a same-sex couple. This is a rate of 2.8 people per 1,000 - above the England average of 2.0 people per 1,000.
