Oxford Direct Services' experience in managing one of the largest vehicle fleets in the area means you will benefit from our knowledge, expertise and attention to detail. We currently manage a fleet of over 280 road registered and over 370 non registered vehicles and plant, all of which are maintained, repaired and serviced at our purpose built workshop in Oxford. We also carry out MOTs, repairs and servicing on commercial and community vehicle fleets, including those of other Local Authorities, Housing Associations and private organisations.
We have offered an independent VOSA approved MOT service from our Cowley Marsh depot since 1969. The service is impartial and we charge only test fees that are set by the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency.

MOTs
Standard MOT tests are available to any persons or organisations. Our MOT service is unbiased and as a result we only complete undisputable minor visual repairs ensuring your complete piece of mind of the work required.
We offer a comprehensive range of independent MOTs for Class 4, 5 and 7 vehicles (cars, minibuses and light Commercial vehicles) including under class 5 vehicles in excess of 3.5 tonne.

Maintenance Review Service
We are also able to offer our existing customers a Maintenance Review Service which includes maintenance MOT, service and repair timetables and fleet evaluation.
We ensure that every vehicle our customers operate is safe, efficient and compliant with all relevant legislation.
Private Hire and Hackney Carriage Compliance
Oxford Direct Services operates comprehensive vehicle and meter compliance testing on Private Hire and Hackney Carriage vehicles operating in the city, on behalf of Oxford City Council the licensing authority.
Pre-purchase Inspections
Pre-purchase inspections can be carried out regardless of age; we can provide an engineer's report on any car.
This report gives details of the condition of the car and all the important components that contribute to the vehicle's safety and roadworthiness.
At the end of the inspection and road test, you will receive a written report from our MOT qualified technicians which gives details of the car's condition and approximate value as presented to the workshops on the day.
