The Gloucester Green market is a traditional and vibrant open air market offering a range of general produce including fresh fruit and vegetables, flowers and plants, household goods, cheeses, pet food, frames, books, fabrics, DVDs, mobile phone accessories, haberdashery, bags, hats, watches and watch batteries, clothing, cakes, sweets, and much more.
Location and Opening Hours
This is a weekly market held every Wednesday from 9am - 5pm. This is operated by Oxford City Council.
Gloucester Green is located in the centre of the city, off George Street and next to the bus station.

Applying for a stall
The charges for renting a stall on Gloucester Green are as follows:
| Pitch rent (site only, traders are expected to provide their own stalls) | £23.08 |
| Stall rent (2m x 1m board and canopy stall provided) | £28.37 |
| Footage (any area extending beyond the allocated pitch size) | £2.43 |
Electricity can also be provided if required.

Discounts are also available to regular stallholders who are able to commit to attending the market for 52 weeks of the year (with some holiday allowances).

Please note that all traders need public liability insurance for 5 million pounds to operate a stall.
