Oxfordshire Game On
The Oxfordshire Game On partnership was established by the County Council in February 2010 in order to ensure that the London 2012 games have positive and lasting social and economic impact on Oxfordshire. Co-ordinated by Oxford Inspires and working with a range of partner organisations - including all District Councils, the County Council, the Oxfordshire Sports Partnership, Thames Valley Police, Blenheim Estates and the University of Oxford - the Oxfordshire 2012 partnership aims to ensure that the communities of Oxfordshire have the opportunity to take inspiration from the Games and have a chance to get involved.

Community Sports Network (CSN)
A partnership approach is been taken with 2012 being part of the Community Sport Networks action plan. The Community Sports Network is where key sporting bodies in the city work together to achieve the shared goal of getting more people active.

Torch Relay Community Task Force
Oxford has been confirmed to host an Evening Celebration after the Olympic Flame comes to the city as part of its journey around the UK.  Oxford City Council leads on a Community Task Force Group which includes representatives from County Highways, Thames Valley Police, University of Oxford, Oxford Brookes University, LOCOG and Oxford Inspires.  This group will support the coordination of the Torch Relay and associated events along the route and the evening celebration event in the city of Oxford. 

Oxford Inspires
Oxford Inspires is the cultural development agency for Oxfordshire. It creates new opportunities for arts and heritage organisations, nurtures new festivals and spectacular events and works to engage as many people as possible in exciting and enjoyable cultural experiences, raising Oxfordshire's profile as a cultural destination within the UK and internationally. Oxford Inspires has secured support from the Legacy Trust of £750,000 to deliver a major national community project 'Tree of Lights' as part of the Cultural Olympiad.

Fusion Lifestyle
Fusion Lifestyle is a social enterprise with charitable status who manage the Council's leisure centres and they have developed a plan of activities for 2012 and beyond including a young ambassadors scheme, open day taster activities, free access to facilities for county sports people and training venues for current British Olympic Association athletes.

Oxford City Council
Oxford City Council will coordinate the Torch Relay Community Taskforce and is working across all service areas to support 2012 initiatives.  The city is working in partnership with Oxford City Football Club to develop a new £2 million astro turf and netball facility due to open in advance of the 2012 Olympics and is also working towards the development of a competition standard swimming pool at Blackbird Leys.  The city has successfully opened an adiZone for Oxford - a local community multi-sports zone in the shape of the London 2012 Logo.

Oxford Open Doors
Oxford Open Doors is organised by the Oxford preservation Trust in partnership with Oxford University.  The major theme of the event for this year on the 10th and 11th September is Sporting Heritage.

Visit Oxfordshire
An organisation created to link partners together to increase their ability to attract tourists to Oxfordshire we are now very well placed to promote Oxford and its localities to the World stage.

Oxfordshire Sports Partnership
The Oxfordshire Sports Partnership is the collective term used to describe the network of agencies, groups and individuals who are committed to working together to achieve the shared vision for Oxfordshire so that 'Everyone more active and achieving their potential through sport'.
