Advice
- A blocked waste is not an emergency. You must try to clear any blockages yourself before you call us. See Clearing a blocked waste.
- We will charge you for clearing blockages caused by items such as toys, hair, cooking oil, tea leaves and food waste.
- If you, a member of your family or a visitor cause damage and we have to repair it, you will have to pay for the cost of the repair.
- Do not use a bath, basin, sink or shower if the wastepipe is blocked; wait until it has been cleared.
- If you notice that a bath panel is cracked or damaged, you should contact us immediately. Some bath panels were made with materials containing asbestos. See Health and safety.
