- Replacing clothes lines between posts (except in shared areas).
- Replacing or re-stringing rotary driers, even when we originally provided them (except in shared areas).
Advice
- If you, a member of your family or a visitor cause damage and we have to repair it, you will have to pay for the cost of the repair.
- If the problem is with a fence or wall that is shared with a next door property, you should give us the address of the other property so that we can find out who is responsible for it.
We need to know
- If a fence or fencepost, how did this happen? Did you put up the fence
yourself? Is it a dividing fence with another property, and, if so, is the other property owned by Oxford City Homes or another owner?
- How high is the fence or post: approximately 3ft, 4ft or 6ft (900mm, 1200mm
or 1800mm)? How much fencing is affected?
- What type of fencing is it: chain link or wooden? If wooden, what type is it?
- What type of fencepost is it: wooden, metal or concrete?
- If a gate or gatepost, where is the gate? What type of gate is it: wooden or metal? What type of post is it: wooden or concrete? How high is it?
- If a path, where is it? Did you lay it yourself? What area is affected (approximately)? What is the path made of: paving slabs, concrete, tarmac or brick? If slabs, are they square or oblong?
- If a shed or store, where is it? Did you or a previous tenant put it up?
- If a wall, where is it? Is it shared with a next door property, and, if so, is the other property owned by Oxford City Homes or another owner? What area is affected (approximately)? Is the pointing loose? Is coping missing? Is brickwork damaged?
- If a clothes line post or rotary drier, where is it? Is it in a shared area? If a post, what type is it: metal or concrete?
